About the role
The LandCare Support Center Internship Program is designed to provide college students with the opportunity to further explore their academic interests in a living business environment. Over the course of the internship, candidates will have the ability to work within the various business functions that make up our LandCare Support Center. These functions include Information Technology, Accounting and Finance, Business Strategy, Operations, Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits. Along with the ability to explore all of these business functions we also offer more in-depth time in each area if you would prefer narrower focus. Interns will learn the ins and outs of working within a decentralized business and contribute to real initiatives within LandCare to move the business forward.
Responsibilities
- Work within various business functions: Information Technology, Accounting and Finance, Business Strategy, Operations, Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits
- Explore functions in depth if preferring a narrower focus
- Learn the ins and outs of working within a decentralized business
- Contribute to real initiatives within LandCare to move the business forward
- Participate in an in-depth orientation with current team members to learn about functional areas expertise and understand the people‑first culture
- Engage in cross‑training to explore interests and find a niche
- Receive mentorship from a dedicated mentor passionate about helping you achieve your goals
- Interact with senior management to hear their stories and obtain guidance and feedback
- Develop management skills through management training
- Be eligible for full‑time opportunities after graduation upon successful completion
