Tower Top Hand
About the role
The Centerline is seeking an experienced Top Hand to join their Denver Team. The ideal candidate will start with their Nebraska team and transition to the Colorado expansion after two months. Experience with Samsung Viearo is preferred.
Responsibilities
- 90% of the time will be spent onsite climbing cell towers.
- Comprehend all aspects of the initial training of the Associate Tower Technician and the Tower Technician.
- Assist the Tower Foreman in developing and planning complete site builds (pertaining to the SOW at hand).
- Share ultimate responsibility for the quality of SOW deliverables.
- Assist the Tower Foreman in identifying change orders, obstacles, and safety concerns that may impede the SOW timeline.
- Possess leadership skills to direct all top-side activities.
- Support the Foreman when on the ground.
- Have a solid understanding of color coding, weatherproofing, grounding, equipment installations, etc. (as it pertains to the SOW at hand) and understand all components of the COP process.

- Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable under the company insurance policy.
Qualifications
- Physical demands: frequent standing, reaching, climbing, talking, hearing; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.; ability to climb to and work at heights exceeding 300' feet; good vision for close work, distance, color discrimination, peripheral, and depth perception.
Skills
- Experience with Samsung Viearo
- Understanding of the wireless industry
- Knowledge of state and federal safety regulations (OSHA, local turfing vendor, Tower Co., etc.)
- Ability to interpret various documents (blueprints, diagrams, manufacturer specifications, etc.)
- Technical expertise in installing telecom equipment/materials on towers, monopoles, etc. including mounts, radios, and antennas
