Tower Technician/Top Hand/Foreman

Candidates must reside in Texas, Colorado, Nebraska, or South Dakota.

Responsibilities

• Climb towers (up to 500 ft) to install and maintain antennas, radios, and cabling
• Run coax and fiber, install connectors, and perform sweep and fiber testing
• Install mounts, RRUs, masts, supports, and other tower equipment
• Work on microwave dishes (1 ft–10 ft)
• Troubleshoot RF, fiber, and equipment issues
• Build and modify towers (monopoles, guyed, self-supports)
• Load/unload gear, keep sites clean, and complete job paperwork
• Lead crew members if you’re in a Top Hand/Foreman role

Requirements

• At least 1 year of tower climbing / telecom construction experience (compensation based on experience)
• Knowledge of rigging, knots, and tower safety
• Able to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
• Can follow directions and get the job done right the first time
• Good attitude, shows up ready to work, and works well within various teams
• 21 or older with a valid driver’s license
• Pass background check, MVR, and drug test
• Lift 75 lbs. and handle long days
• Work outside in all weather

Qualifications

Certifications (Have Them or Get Them):

• Climber/Rescue cert
• OSHA 10 (OSHA 30 required after hire)
• First Aid / CPR
