4950-Tow Truck Driver FLSA Classification: Non Exempt Salary Grade/Level/Family/Range: Hourly Reports to: General Manager Summary/objective Job Description A Tow Truck Driver is responsible for providing prompt, courteous, and professional towing services to our current and new customers. Operate a flatbed tow truck to transport vehicles to designated locations. Respond to dispatch calls promptly and professionallySafely load, secure, and unload vehicles using proper procedures and equipmentMaintain accurate records of service calls, mileage, and fuel usagePerform pretrip and posttrip inspections of the tow truck to ensure vehicle safety and operational readinessCommunicate clearly with dispatch, customers, and law enforcement when necessaryFollow all DOT, company, and local safety policies and procedures Competencies Effectively communicate with all locations and provide recommendationsAbility to work as a team and independentlyStrong communication, interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fastpaced environmentAttention to detail and excellent organizational skillsAbility to follow safety guidelines and regulations Supervisory Responsibilities N/A Physical demands Ability to sit for long periods of time Travel required All locations as requested by management Required education and experience 1+ year towing experienceValid Drivers License with For Hire EndorsementCurrent DOT PhysicalClean driving record
