Tow Truck Driver

About the role

King O’Rourke Cadillac Buick GMC in Smithtown, NY is seeking experienced Tow Truck Drivers to join our towing team. Candidates must have a licensed Tow Endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Pick-up and delivery of vehicles with our Tow Truck fleet
• Load/unload vehicles safely and free of damage
• Operate company equipment in compliance with safety regulations
• Maintain and assure good operating condition of all equipment and facilities
• Help run day-to-day tow operations and perform facility maintenance and repairs
• Operate various equipment, including forklifts
• Be available during off-hours as needed to run the tow truck
• Demonstrate great customer service, people skills, and telephone skills
• Commit to customer service satisfaction with professionalism and courteousness
• Communicate effectively with customers and employees
• Achieve goals and complete other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Must have towing experience
• Must meet background screening criteria
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License issued by your state of residence
• Ability to work in various weather conditions

Pay

$20/hr with huge potential. We also offer piece-rate pay to reward hard work.
