About the role

We are seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Tourism & Partnership Manager to lead the visitor experience for a premier destination attraction while expanding its presence within the local tourism and business community.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the visitor center, ensuring an outstanding guest experience.
  • Cook up and oversee guided tours, group visits, and special events.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador by representing the organization within the local business and tourism community.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with hotels, convention and visitors bureaus, tour operators, chambers of commerce, event planners, and other community partners.
  • Identify opportunities to increase visitor traffic through strategic partnerships, group bookings, and tourism initiatives.
  • Plan and participate in networking events, trade shows, community events, and tourism-related activities.
  • Collaborate with leadership and marketing teams to promote visitor experiences, seasonal events, and special programs.
  • Monitor visitor feedback and implement improvements to enhance the guest experience.
  • Track visitor metrics, partnerships, and outreach efforts, providing regular reports and recommendations.
  • Ensure the visitor center is welcoming, organized, and reflective of the organization's brand standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in tourism, hospitality, visitor services, business development, community relations, or a similar customer-facing role.
  • Demonstrated success building relationships with community organizations and business partners.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and event coordination abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable speaking to groups and providing engaging presentations or tours.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or reservation systems is a plus.
  • Availability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and special events as needed.
