Position Overview: Manager, Travel Trade and Partnerships This position will lead the strategy, contract negotiation, and day-to-day management of third-party distribution channels for One Times Square in New York City. This role is responsible for driving revenue and visitor volume through Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), tour operators, and travel trade partners locally and internationally. The ideal candidate brings a strong network in the travel and attractions industry, deep understanding of travel tech connectivity, and a data-driven approach to yield optimization. We're seeking candidates who are analytical, relationship-driven travel trade professionals with a proven track record of negotiating high-yield OTA contracts and leveraging travel tech integrations to drive visitor volume in high-capacity attraction environments. This role is a key contributor to the project’s overall success - driving ticket revenue, expanding global partner networks, and cultivating a high-performance, cross-functional team environment that delivers impactful results. About One Times Square One Times Square is a 26-story building located at the intersection of 42nd Street, Seventh Avenue, and Broadway in New York City. Best known as the home of the iconic Times Square New Year’s Eve Ball Drop Celebration, the building now serves as a modern entertainment destination at the crossroads of art, technology, and entertainment. Reimagined by Jamestown LP, the building opens its doors to the public for the first time in over 50 years, delivering an unforgettable immersive experience in one of the world’s most visited locations. The building is owned by Jamestown, a design-focused, vertically integrated real estate investment manager and service provider with over 40 years of experience and roughly $14B of assets under management globally. This is an in-office role, based in New York City, NY. What You’ll Do Serve as the primary point of contact for global and regional OTAsNegotiate commercial agreements including net rates, commission structures, capacity allotments and payment terms to maximize margin and ticket yieldManage channel manager integrations to ensure seamless ticketing, live inventory sync and rate parity across platformsExecute joint marketing campaigns, preferred placement programs and seasonal activations with key OTA partners to boost visibility during peak and shoulder seasonsTrack performance including ticket volume, average order value (AOV), channel profitability, and cancellation ratesRepresent One Times Square at domestic and international travel trade shows, roadshows and industry eventsCollaborate with internal One Times Square teams to ensure a seamless experience for OTA partnersOther duties as assigned Who You Are Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field2-4 years of experience in business development, account management, or distribution within the travel, tourism, or attractions industryProven track record of managing major Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) and negotiating third-party distribution agreementsDirect experience in the NYC tourism market or managing high-volume, ticketed visitor attractions, observatories, museums or venue experiences is strongly preferredDemonstrated experience working with attraction ticketing systems and channel manager integrationsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities In-depth knowledge of global OTA models, receptive tour operations, hotel concierges and regional marketing organizations (ex: NYC Tourism + Conventions)Strong understanding of net pricing vs retail rates, commission structures, dynamic pricing, capacity allotment, and rate parity management across channelsFirm grasp of API integrations, live inventory syncing, Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and Point of Sale (POS) backend operational workflowsComprehensive understanding of travel trade contracts, including cancellation terms, liability clauses, blackout dates and payment settlement structuresStrong negotiation skills with a track record of securing high yield commission terms, optimal inventory allocations and co-op marketing investmentsProficiency in analyzing partner performance metrics - including channel volume, average order volume (AOV), profitability, and drop-off rates using Excel BI platforms or CRM softwareAbility to evaluate channel performance date to continuously optimize the attractions distribution mix and maximise total revenueAbility to stay agile and resolve high-volume operational challenges, sudden capacity adjustments or peak-season demand shiftsExceptional oral and written communication skills Compensation & Benefits Details Compensation: $75,000 – $85,000 annual base salary plus bonus eligibleEmployment Type: Full-Time, ExemptMedical, Dental, Vision, Life, Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Insurance, FSA, HSA and more401k Employer Match (after meeting eligibility requirements)14 Paid HolidaysUnlimited PTOPaid Parental Leave Physical Demands/Working Conditions Travel Requirements: Limited but requires flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
