Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform regular benefit audits, reports and workflow using advanced Excel functions (e.g., PivotTable, Vlookup, Xlookup, formatting and formulas).
  • Develop, maintain, and improve audit templates and tracking tools in Excel to ensure benefit accuracy and efficiency.
  • Identify discrepancies or irregularities in datasets and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve issues.
  • Affiliate with the daily administration of the benefit plans.
  • Affiliate with resolving employees' questions regarding benefits.
  • Liaison with carriers, brokers, and employees.
  • Affiliate with creating and maintaining benefit communications to help increase employee understanding of the benefit plans.
  • Partner with benefit vendors for issue resolution, as needed.
  • Affiliate with annual benefits open enrollment and new hire benefits enrollment.
  • Utilize existing systems and processed to update life event requests.
  • Respond to inquiries from Short and Long Term Disability carrier.
  • Maintain Summary Plan Descriptions, Plan Documents, Benefit Summaries and Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBCs).
  • Distribute required notices for Health Plan and 401(k) Plan.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory reports relating to Affordable Care Act.
  • Respond to 401(k) inquiries from employees relating to enrollments, plan changes and contribution amounts.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, as well as internal policies.
  • Coordinate day-to-day processing of the tuition reimbursement and CEU reimbursement programs.
  • Affiliate with ordering and tracking of semi-annual shirts and annual holiday gifts for employees.
  • Maintain employment files through third-party vendor.
  • Verify Employment and distribute mail.
  • Identify confidential information and maintain strict confidentiality of information.
  • Promote customer satisfaction, both internal and external.
  • Actively promote GUEST customer service standards; develop effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Participate in team concepts and promote a team effort; perform duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
  • Strong Knowledge of ADP/WFN (Workforce Now) system capability preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of benefits and employee engagement processes preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to counsel and tactfully assist people with sometimes difficult situations.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and organize work.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop new approaches, streamline processes and create positive customer interactions.
  • Critical thinking skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to research, organize, and present data.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and quickly adapt to changes in work assignments.
  • Proactively address issues and anticipate need for information.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline driven work environment.
  • Must have proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook); proficiency in USRC applications required within 90 days of hire.
