About the role
We're seeking an experienced, service-oriented Total Rewards Manager to join our Human Resources team. This role suits a highly organized HR operations professional who leads teams, improves processes, leverages technology and delivers an exceptional employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage Payroll Operations
- Oversee and approve payroll processing for a multi-state, multi-company workforce.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll administration.
- Partner with Finance on audits, reconciliations and reporting.
- Drive payroll process improvements.
- Manage Employee Benefits Operations
- Oversee health, welfare, retirement, leave and wellness programs.
- Lead annual open enrollment.
- Manage broker, carrier and vendor relationships.
- Reconcile benefit invoices and premiums monthly.
- Partner on HRIS Administration & Optimization
- Maintain employee data integrity and security.
- Support system upgrades, testing, reporting and enhancements.
- Develop dashboards and workforce analytics.
- Support UKG enhancements.
- Lead & Develop the Team
- Coach and mentor team members.
- Set priorities and support team development.
- Keep day-to-day administration timely and accurate.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 5+ years of payroll, benefits, HRIS or HR operations experience.
- UKG experience preferred.

Schedule
This role is based at Scion's Chicago corporate headquarters. Standard daytime business hours apply, with flexibility during peak periods and system implementations.

Pay
Illinois Pay Range: $80,000—$90,000 USD. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in Illinois. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This is a full-time position with base salary, bonus, and benefits.
