About the Role
This Summer 2027 internship provides hands-on experience supporting employee wellbeing, benefits, and Total Rewards initiatives at U.S. Venture's corporate office in Appleton, WI.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, promoting, and evaluating employee wellness programs, challenges, and campaigns.
- Support wellness vendors and help coordinate health fairs, educational events, and onsite wellbeing initiatives.
- Assist with creating and updating Total Rewards and wellness communications, including newsletters, presentations, flyers, and intranet content.
- Analyze wellness and benefits program participation data and help prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.
- Assist with auditing and validating wellness and benefits-related data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct research on emerging wellness, wellbeing, and Total Rewards trends and provide recommendations to the team.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors on ongoing projects and special initiatives.
- Participate in a variety of Total Rewards projects that support employee wellbeing and organizational goals.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Health Promotion, Public Health, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Junior or Senior status preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Interest in employee wellbeing, benefits, wellness programming, and workplace culture.
- Ability to analyze information and identify trends or opportunities for improvement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality work.
- Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to build positive working relationships with team members, vendors, and business partners.
Candidates must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring sponsorship.
