Total Loss Adjuster - Irving/Dallas,TX

GoAuto Insurance is seeking an experienced Auto Total Loss Claims Adjuster to join their growing team in the Irving/Dallas, TX area. This position offers the opportunity to build a career with a company that values its employees and makes a positive impact.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and communicate all total loss settlements per company and state guidelines.
• Understands the total loss evaluation methodology process with the ability to effectively communicate these to vehicle owners.
• Reviews damage estimates to confirm vehicles are total losses.
• Documents all settlements and actions in the claim file system.
• Maintains an effective diary system on pending files.
• Prioritizes and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Communicates claims procedures and process to involved parties verbally and in writing.
• Prepares payments to vehicle owners, banks, and lease companies.
• Complies with all required reporting requirements, such as ISO, CMS, etc.

Qualifications

• Property & Casualty license or Personal Lines license (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3 years of relevant work experience to include: Auto Liability Claims handling, Total Loss Experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Multitasking and time management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer Skills (required).
