About the role
The Global Partnerships team within Google is seeking a highly collaborative individual with a proven track record in business development and partnerships. This role involves leading executive-level partnerships strategy, working cross-functionally to lead change and drive impact with partners and within Google.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-Google partnerships and agreement pursuits across the Ecosystems team, including developing/managing relationships with key stakeholders internally and with partners (up to the CEO).
- Develop a clear strategy to align Google against the partners’ most pressing strategic objectives and to drive commercial growth and product priorities for Google.
- Lead cross-product area executive engagement, including preparing briefings for senior Google executives, setting clear objectives, and ensuring alignment and activation across Google.
- Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise to grow Google’s business across Ecosystems, including developing POVs and cross-product area playbooks on critical topics (i.e. GenAI, Agentic Commerce) and advising senior leaders.
- Own cross-Google operations for your book of business, including OKR reporting, briefing documents, leadership updates, etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, or 5 years with advanced degree.
- Experience in the consumer electronics, auto, OEMs, telecom, e-commerce/retail, apps, ads, gaming, or technology industries.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across multiple levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
Preferred qualifications
- MBA or Master's degree in a related field.
- Extensive experience leading complex, cross-functional partnership initiatives with a significant impact on business outcomes.
- Deep understanding of the [relevant industry/vertical/market] landscape, including emerging trends and competitive dynamics.
- Proven ability to identify, evaluate, and prioritize strategic partnership opportunities that align with business objectives.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with a track record of securing favorable terms and building consensus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to and influencing senior executives.
Benefits
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $140000 - $203000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
