Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Surface Grinding: Ability to hold tolerances of .0001” on form features and .000020” stack on individual laminates.
- EDM: Ability to burn precision core laminates and design/build electrodes when necessary.
- Vertical Milling, Lathe: Demonstrated ability to run various support machinery.
- Inspection: Ability to inspect incoming steel and collaborate with QA Inspector.
- Final Fit & Assembly: Support role in assembling complete new molds from individual components.
- Reviewing BOMs: Ensure all components are accounted for and within specification limits.
- Travel Support: Willingness to travel and perform tasks under a primary advisor.
Required Experience
- 5+ Years’ Minimum Experience as a Moldmaker
