Responsibilities
- Buff and body work metal and composite tooling
- Apply prep chemicals to molds
- Inspection of overall tool quality to type design
- Basic tool preventative maintenance
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of comparable composite work experience or 3 years manufacturing experience
- Working knowledge of hand and power tools
- Willingly to learn, be adaptable, accept changes and challenges
- Ability to read, analyze and interrupt blueprints, specs, technical drawings, procedures or regulations
- Ability to write routine reports and procedures
- Possess strong troubleshooting skills
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems
- Ability to communicate and respond to common questions from supervisors, leads, and co-workers
- Ability to present complex information to management
- Attention to detail required
- Must be able to work as part of a team
