Responsibilities

  • Assemble/disassemble molds following applicable work instructions and blueprints;
  • Perform overhauls (preventative maintenance);
  • Parts fitting, shape mold components in accordance with training guidelines and understand parts mating position and function;
  • Measure dimensions using appropriate measuring devices;
  • Perform troubleshooting and utilize surface grinders, hand tools and or welding equipment;
  • Assemble/disassemble molds following applicable work instructions and blueprints;
  • Perform quality assurance checks on all fabricated tooling;
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition;
  • Prepare required documentation (i.e. tooling work orders, quality inspection reports, etc.).

Requirements

  • Two-year Machine Tool Technology degree/Maintenance degree, 1-3 years on the job experience with injection mold maintenance;
  • Must possess fine motor skills for handling delicate components and be able to perform frequent pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying;
  • Must possess excellent oral & written communications skills;
  • Must be willing to learn and be able to work at a fast pace.
