Well-established US-based manufacturer seeking an experienced Manufacturing Tooling Engineer to design, develop, and implement tooling, fixtures, and equipment for production processes.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop tooling, fixtures, and equipment for manufacturing processes using AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—production, quality, and design—to identify and implement tooling solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Conduct tooling feasibility studies and present findings to management.
- Lead tooling improvement initiatives, including cost reduction and process optimization projects.
- Conduct regular inspections of tooling and equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot tooling problems and implement effective solutions.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff on tooling and equipment use.
- Stay current with latest tooling technologies, trends, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain tooling documentation, including design specifications, manuals, and maintenance logs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in tooling design and development in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a manufacturing setting.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
