About the role
Precise Systems is seeking Tool Technicians to support our customers in Norfolk, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Perform surface preparation and paint application tool maintenance, repair, and consumable selection.
- Repair and maintain an extensive variety of surface preparation and paint application tools.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure tooling meets project specifications and timelines.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; and related military experience or trade/industrial school graduate and/or trade experience.
- AMPP Basic Coatings Inspector (CIP Level 1) or NAVSEA Basic Paint Inspector (NBPI) certification.
- Approximately five (5) years of experience that is related to corrosion control and tool maintenance on U.S. Navy ships and submarines.
- Current Secret security clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship required due to customer-related requirements.

- Experience with various types of surface preparation and painting techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
