Responsibilities
- Inventory, order, restock and distribute tools, equipment or chemical inventory
- Test equipment, operate motorize pallet jack, operate forklift (standing or seated style)
- Computer entry to Print SDS labels
- Serve as the on-site technical and administrative subject matter expert for their area of expertise for their group
- Perform pre-job briefs at the start of the shifts and scheduled work activities. Perform shift turnover duties with assigned personnel
- Perform and ensure their group performs TAM/2-minute drills in the field prior to performance of work activities
- Understand and promote a Safety Conscious Work Environment
- Perform daily leadership and direction to assigned personnel in a positive coaching and mentoring role
- Provide feedback to personnel through continuous field observations and pre-job briefs. Document performance of observations, both positive and negative. (Outage)
- Perform Annual and Quarterly Chemical Inspections and document to completion through work order
- Perform monthly housekeeping inspections and document to completion
- Perform annual and pre-outage fall protection Inspections and remove any damaged from service and document to completion through work order
- Perform daily walkdowns of tool rooms/storage areas for housekeeping and safety concerns
- Bump/Calibrate 4 gas monitors for general use and security use
- Bump/Calibrate sulfur dioxide monitors for general and Chemistry use
- Bump/Calibrate hydrogen monitors
- Bump/Calibrate ammonia monitors
- Bump/Calibrate hydrazine monitors
- Send hydrazine monitors for offsite calibration/repair – must have always at least 2 on site
- Order calibration gas for all types of monitors or when expire
- Perform annual rigging storage area inspections and document to completion through work order.
- Perform inspections on all rigging and fall protection before placing back into inventory.
- Perform daily forklift inspections prior to use
- Perform daily motorized pallet jack inspections before use
- Move material as needed by stand-up forklift, motorized pallet jack or standard pallet jack.
- Perform quarterly continuity test and inspections on electrically powered tools per the color code chart and document to completion through work order.
- Create work requests for any damaged tools to be repaired if repairable
- Enter tools into inventory through Indysoft Tool tracking program in the absence
- Maintain after hours / weekend tool issue logs for hot and cold side
- Sign exit paperwork for all Out-Processing individuals
- Support outage work 24/7 coverage
- Support emergent work- weekends & nights by a weekly on call/ duty list (Monday - Sunday)
- Perform field observations in the Observation System weekly (Outage).
- Model expected personnel behaviors and technical skill; set the expectation and standards for assigned personnel and hold assigned personnel accountable
- High school Diploma, GED or equivalent
- You must be 18 years of age.
- Forklift qualification will be required after hire.
- Training requirements for unescorted access to the nuclear facility to include Radiation Worker Training (RWT)
- You will lift 50 lbs. (heavy lifting required from time to time.)
- Understand and follow oral and written communications, technical requirements, procedures, and directives associated with working at a nuclear power plant in English.
- Codeman access, Indysoft access as standard user, E-TRAC access for SDS labels, Non-Radiological Sentinel access

Pay
Base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $19/hour to $23/hour.
