Tool Repair Technician - Stabil Drill

About the role

Stabil Drill, a Superior Energy Services Company, provides tough, durable tools to support the energy industry in demanding drilling applications. We are seeking a Full-Time Tool Repair Technician to join our team in El Reno, OK.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle, repair, and reassemble drilling tools.
• Maintain cleanliness, proper maintenance, and disposal of debris on property.
• Assist the Supervisor in all aspects of the job.
• Assemble and set up new equipment.
• Ensure awareness of and compliance with relevant company/customer QHSE requirements.
• Perform other duties as required by Supervisor.
• Accurately complete and maintain necessary reports/records in a timely and legible manner, in accordance with applicable procedures and/or work orders.

Requirements

• Current knowledge of equipment, materials, and practices used in the oil/gas industry.
• Ability to complete tasks and follow oral and written instructions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Good communication and troubleshooting skills.
