Responsibilities
- Bench Repair, Assembly, and Machinery Up-Keep
- Layout, Die Repair, and Inspection
- Press Troubleshooting and Tooling Design
- Quality Control
- Die and/or Fixture Building
- Welding and Heat Treating
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (post-high school tooling/machining program preferred)
- Good organizational skills
- Intermediate proficiency in computer operations
- High integrity and honesty
- Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, diagrams, requirements, and business correspondence
- Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts as appropriate
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Knowledge of safe and proficient use of lathes, milling machines, grinders, drill presses, and saws
