About the role

Dynacast, LLC, a Form Technologies Company, is a leading global manufacturer of small, engineered precision components using proprietary multi-slide die casting technology and advanced tooling techniques. They are looking for an experienced Tool Maker with die mold experience to join their team. Responsibilities

• Repair existing dies and develop, cut, shape, or form metal workpieces to meet specifications.
• Make necessary tooling adjustments and read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Troubleshoot and repair tooling that is not performing to established standards.
• Operate conventional machine tools as needed.
• Fit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify dies, jigs, gauges, and tools using machine tools and hand tools.
• Inspect finished dies for smoothness, contour conformity, and defects.
• Follow all appropriate safety procedures/regulations and keep immediate work area clean.
• Additional projects may be assigned by the Engineering Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of tool making experience.
• Die mold experience.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Skills

• Experience working with multi-slide die casting technology and tooling techniques (preferred).
