About the role

Join our team as a Tool Inspector II – the final gatekeeper of excellence. At Superior Completions, quality is a promise. We seek a detail-driven Tool Inspector II to ensure every product meets the highest standards of precision and performance. In this hands-on, mission-critical role, you will be the last line of defense before our equipment reaches customers. You will verify components and assemblies against stringent dimensional and documentation standards, witness product testing, conduct detailed visual inspections, and collaborate with engineers, operations teams, outside suppliers, and customer representatives.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of new and rental products.
• Perform functional tests on piece parts.
• Perform inspection of assemblies.
• Perform visual inspection of components and assemblies in accordance with applicable documents.
• Work with customer inspectors in the examination of product.
• Assist Engineering and Operations in the investigation of product failures.
• Assist outside suppliers with problems related to subcontracted parts.
• Assist in the training of other personnel as required.
• Perform simple calibrations and maintain records for various tools, instruments, and gauges used in manufacturing and inspection processes.

Requirements

• Ability to work on-call 24 hours for 7 consecutive days.
• Ability to safely operate and maintain equipment used in daily activities.
• Ability to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees.
• Accurately complete and maintain necessary reports and records in a timely and legible manner.
• Commit to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• A minimum of three (3) years of inspection-related experience.
