Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution planning for completions, workovers, and intervention activities.
- Deliver wells that are safe, reliable, and optimized for performance and cost.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during field operations.
- Identify and manage well control and process safety risks during design and execution.
- Provide technical input to risk assessments, Management of Change activities, and deviations from standards.
- Ensure compliance with company practices, well delivery workflow requirements, and regulatory obligations.
- Develop and maintain completions programmes, procedures, and technical documentation.
- Define technical specifications for tubulars, completion equipment, and sandface systems.
- Support integrated operations planning and execution across SIMOPs environments.
- Analyse performance data and benchmarking to support continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Implement and evaluate new technologies, techniques, and lessons learned across assets and regions.
- Mentor less experienced engineers and support development of standards, procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, including Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or a related discipline.
- Valid Well Control Certification.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in completions, workovers, and interventions engineering.
- Proven experience in subsea completions and offshore operations.
- Strong knowledge of well intervention techniques, including wireline, perforating, and fishing.
- Strong knowledge of fracturing and stimulation, sand control completions, well performance, and data acquisition.
- Experience working with rig operations and completion equipment.
- Strong technical problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Desirable: Experience in Gulf of Mexico deepwater operations.
- Desirable: Knowledge of flow assurance and production operations.
- Desirable: Experience working with Finance and PSCM in supplier management.
