About the Role
This is a salaried exempt position on 1st shift with regular office hours and is 100% on-site with no availability to become hybrid or remote.
Responsibilities
- Studies specifications, engineering blueprints, tool orders, and shop data and confers with engineering and shop personnel to resolve design problems related to material characteristics, dimensional tolerances, service requirements, and manufacturing procedures.
- Applies algebraic and geometric formulas and standard tool engineering data to develop tool configuration.
- Selects standard items such as bushings and tool bits to incorporate into tool design.
- Draws preliminary sketches and prepares layout and detail drawings.

Qualifications
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of and experience with CAD/CAM, Solidworks, and Microsoft software.
