Toddler Program Assistant Teacher

About the role

We are seeking an Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher (part-time) to join our dedicated team today. If you have experience working with children, we would love to discuss a career in early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
• Social and emotional development of each child
• Positive and effective family relations
• Collaborating with the lead teacher and the entire faculty

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• EDU 119 Credential course preferred
• One year minimum experience working in a licensed preschool center
• Show empathy and compassion for young children
• Dependable and adaptable, enjoys working together toward a common goal
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations
• For Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
