About the role
The Goddard School in Springboro is seeking an Assistant Teacher for their Toddler program. The facility is a state-of-the-art 20,000 sq. ft. building with 10 classrooms, a half-court gym, gross motor room, and 3 separate playgrounds.
Responsibilities
- Following state and Goddard regulations
- Successful classroom management using developmentally appropriate practices
- Working with lead teacher to implement lesson plans in academic and enrichment subject areas
- Parent communication
- Maintaining an aesthetically pleasing classroom environment
Requirements
- Lift 20 pounds
- Sustain high level of activity
- Bend, stoop, and sit on the floor
- At least 1 year of working in a preschool or group environment
- CDA Credential (a plus)
