Toddler Lead Teacher

About the role

Toddler Lead Teachers are responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for toddlers aged 12-36 months. They lead daily activities that promote physical, cognitive, and social development. The role involves planning engaging activities, observing children’s progress, and providing individualized care.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement age-appropriate daily lesson plans focusing on physical, cognitive, and social development.
• Observe and document children’s growth and development, adjusting plans accordingly.
• Provide individualized care and attention to each child in the classroom.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure consistent programming and support for all children.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• At least one year of experience working with young children.
• Valid CPR and first aid certifications.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with child safety and health practices.
