About the Role

As a Stock Associate, you will maximize selling potential by ensuring the efficient and effective flow of merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor. You will be accountable for delivering on all aspects of stockroom standard operating procedures (SOP) and achieving brand standards for shipment processing, replenishment, markdowns, and merchandising. This role requires role-modeling AEO values and Customer First behaviors to create a positive experience.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently achieve brand productivity standards for shipment processing, replenishment, markdowns, and merchandising using company tools and resources.
  • Maintain stockroom SOPs to support efficient handling and placement of merchandise, visual props, marketing, and fixtures to maximize sales and productivity.
  • Execute efficient shipment processing by following guidelines; track and communicate productivity (units per hour) to store leadership.
  • Support and adhere to Todd Snyder visual standards to maximize merchandise presentations when moving product from the stockroom to the sales floor.
  • Partner with store leadership to ensure proper execution of replenishment tasks, including Fill the Floor, power closes, power opens, and merchandise adjustments.
  • Communicate merchandising opportunities to leadership and execute adjustments in compliance with Todd Snyder visual standards.
  • Execute markdowns and re-ticketing in the stockroom and on the sales floor; update store leadership on compliance.
  • Partner with store leadership to complete stock transfers and process damages.
  • Support fellow employees by sharing knowledge, helping with tasks, and assisting in customer interactions.
  • Maintain and support safety standards on the sales floor and in the stockroom; report safety concerns to leadership.
  • Follow Loss Prevention policies and report any unusual internal or external activity.
  • Understand and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous stock experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with customers, leadership, and associates.
  • Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.
  • Ability to receive feedback and take appropriate action.
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods with short rest breaks; reach, bend, stoop, etc., to handle products.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to lift cartons weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Proficient with technology.
