TNFRP - Custom and Stock Product Technician II - Mon-Fri 8a-5p
About the role
A Technician II at Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) is responsible for developing and manufacturing products tailored to customer-specific requirements. This role requires some experience and technical knowledge, including formulating custom orders, operating laboratory equipment, following procedures and regulations, and taking quality control samples.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manufacture products tailored to customer-specific requirements.
- Operate laboratory equipment according to work instructions and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Follow customer-specific and general work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support daily management by assessing problems, driving problem-solving with data, and suggesting countermeasures.
Requirements
- Associate’s (2 year) degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Some lab experience.
- Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s (4 year) degree preferred in a science-related field (Biology, Chemistry, etc.).
- 12 months of lab experience; Life Science work experience.
- Extensive computer skills including knowledge of the Internet, SAP, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
