About the role
As a TMS Technician at Northeast Health Services, a member of Transformations Care Network (TCN), you'll be an essential part of our clinical support team. You will work directly with clients to provide future-oriented and evidence-based treatments, overseeing TMS clinical services while ensuring exceptional customer service and the highest quality work standards. This role allows you to build rapport with clients and support them as they receive relief from treatment-resistant depression, witnessing the powerful impact of our services firsthand.
Responsibilities
- Provide TMS treatment according to specific physician protocols, including setting up the TMS medical device and monitoring all aspects of treatment sessions for client comfort and accuracy.
- Accurately enter client information into the system and record session notes and superbill by the end of the day.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills to provide support, reflective listening, and compassion to clients struggling with depression or other disorders.
- Provide excellent client care with compassion, developing trust and rapport.
- Administer psychiatric rating scales and document outcomes on modalities.
- Schedule and maintain client appointments relative to all services offered.
- Demonstrate flexibility with time schedules to fit client needs and requirements.
- Answer client phone calls and adjust schedules as necessary.
- Maintain client safety by wearing personal protective equipment as required.
- Assist with the client resource center and integrate current and potential clients.
- Investigate and communicate insurance coverage and verification issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with client comfort, coil contact, and TMS system set-up during treatment.
- Possess basic clinical assessment skills to identify real or potential adverse events during treatment where interruption or termination is necessary.
- Communicate concerns to the TMS coordinator, clinical director, or physician when necessary.
- Follow company policies and procedures, adhering to state and/or federal regulations.
- Work with Neuronetics or other representatives to accomplish various duties.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred).
- 1 or more years of medical office experience (Preferred).
- Medical Assistant training (Preferred).
- Knowledge of medical authorizations (Preferred).
- Completion of TMS Certification during training.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Understand and comply with HIPAA.
- Excellent communication skills.
- CPR Certified (or willing to obtain certification).

Pay
The hourly compensation range for this role is $20 – $25. Actual compensation may vary based on licensure, experience, market-driven enhancements, and incentive opportunities.
