TMPS Operations Specialist 1

Pay is based on a number of factors including the successful candidate’s job-related knowledge and skills, qualifications, and prior experience. Grade 10 Pay Range: $15.80 - $19.70 per hour.

Position is located at 921 W Monroe Ave, Lowell, AR 72745. This is an occasional position requiring flexibility to work 10–40 hours per week between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the ability to work additional hours as needed.

About the Role

The Treasury Management & Payment Solutions (TMPS) Operations Specialist 1 is responsible for lockbox processing within the division, which includes traditional business Treasury Management, International, Merchant Acquiring, and Card Payment solutions. This role requires strict confidentiality when handling customer documents such as checks and remittances.

Responsibilities

• Lockbox Processing:
  • Accurately process customer documents received via mail or courier using high-speed imaging equipment, including opening, sorting, scanning, and extracting checks and remittances while maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Verify check negotiability according to customer-specific instructions.
  • Perform precise data entry and quality control reviews for Lockbox services.
• Scheduled Duties:
  • Perform reconciliation, cash deposits, shredding, and equipment maintenance according to schedule.
  • Coordinate with TMPS Manager of Operations to complete assigned projects or duties.
  • Make timely decisions on routine duties and escalate as needed.
• Policy and Procedure Adherence:
  • Proactively identify and recommend improvements to enhance quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
  • Process outgoing wire transfer requests within an established approval limit, ensuring proper approval and documentation.
• Exceptional Service Delivery:
  • Consistently deliver exceptional, professional, and efficient customer service, both internally and externally.
  • Meet or exceed established metrics for attendance, processing volume, quality, and service.
• Violation and Suspicious Activity Reporting:
  • Identify and report all processing errors and provide feedback as required by privacy policy, banking laws, or regulations.
  • Follow chain of command to report suspicious customer or account activity to the TMPS Manager of Operations.
• Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program as applicable to job duties.
  • Complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Arvest or other banking experience.
  • Knowledge of treasury management, merchant acquiring, card payments, or business banking.
  • Associate degree.
  • 1 year of operations, processing, production, or banking experience with a focus on meeting daily deadlines.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software tools (e.g., Google Workspace).
