Title I Tutor - Longleaf Elementary School

About the role

These Tutors work in the classroom and in the tutor room with students, providing academic support for selected students.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or small group instruction
• Provide documentation of student progress
• Work with teacher(s) to determine appropriate interventions
• Maintain required documentation of services provided
• Work up to 19 hours per week
• Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance
• Support the Lamar County School District Mission Statement
• Perform other duties assigned by Supervisor

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Passing scores on "Work Keys" test or completion of 48 college credits
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Required references and background check

Salary, days, and work year as established by the Lamar County Board of Education. Performance will be evaluated in accordance with Lamar County School Board policy on Evaluation of Employees.
