Title I Tutor-Bridges Math

Location: Meadowbrook Elementary. Open until filled.

About the role

Under the supervision of the Title I supervisor and in cooperation with the teachers, the Title I Tutor assists students to improve their basic reading skills, math skills, and self-esteem. Incumbents must display patience and understanding in order to achieve desired results.

Schedule

• 3.4 hours per day, Monday–Thursday, 11:30 AM–3:15 PM
• 174 days per year

Pay

• $17.24 per hour (2026-27 Support Salary Table)
• Promotions result in a minimum 5% increase

Requirements

Educational Requirements

• High school graduation
• Equivalent of two years (48 semester hours) full-time education at an institution of higher education; or an associate’s degree; or ability to pass a Utah State Office of Education approved Para-Professional math and reading test

Knowledge & Ability

• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language
• Ability to work well with children, display patience and understanding
