About the Role

This is a full-time, 9-month para-professional support-staff position working 7 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher with instructional activities and student supervision.
• Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students as directed.
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and productive learning environment.
• Assist with classroom management, including behavior monitoring and reinforcement.
• Prepare instructional materials and set up equipment for lessons.
• Perform clerical duties such as grading, record-keeping, and attendance tracking.
• Support students with special needs under the direction of the teacher or special education staff.
• Assist with personal care tasks for students as needed (e.g., toileting, feeding, mobility).
• Participate in professional development and training as required.
