About the role

This position supports the SLD-I program at the North Las Vegas location. The primary responsibilities involve assisting students with special needs under the supervision of qualified professionals.

Responsibilities

• Support students with special educational needs
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other staff members
• Implement classroom management strategies as directed
• Provide assistance with daily activities such as eating, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Document student progress and communicate with parents/guardians as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Nevada driver’s license
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Experience working with individuals with special needs preferred

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of child development and special education principles
