About the role
The primary role is to provide one-on-one support to students with special needs in a least restrictive environment setting.
Responsibilities
- Support students in accessing educational opportunities and resources
- Assist with daily routines and activities
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Nevada driver’s license
- Passing score on a background check
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with special needs preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices
- Basic computer skills
