About the role

Provides support services to students with autism spectrum disorder within the Lincoln Elementary School program.

Responsibilities

• Supports students in developing social skills and communication strategies.
• Participates in team meetings to discuss student progress and needs.
• Assists with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Maintains accurate records and documentation of student interactions and progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Nevada teaching license or equivalent certification.
• Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
