About the Role

This position plans and implements an instructional program and provides related educational services for students in grades K-5. The role involves managing student behavior, assessing and evaluating student achievement, and modifying instructional activities as required. It also includes carrying out a variety of student monitoring and control activities.

Teachers in this role may work in a general education, elementary classroom setting (K-5), either independently or in team/departmental settings, and may be assigned to specialized areas such as reading or technology labs.

Work is performed under the general supervision of a principal or other designated administrator.

Responsibilities
