Requirements

• Education: High school graduation or equivalent (GED, foreign equivalency, etc.)
• Minimum of 48 credit hours from an accredited college or university, or a passing score on the ParaPro/Parapathways Testing.
• Applicant must provide own transportation.
• Current CPR/AED certificate from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or similar organization; must be maintained for duration of assignment; training must be in‑person with hands‑on component (online courses not accepted).
• Documentation required at time of application: high school transcript or equivalent; college transcript(s) if applicable or copy of passing ParaPro/Parapathways score; current CPR/AED certificate (front and back); specific documented evidence of training and experience to satisfy qualifications.
• Out‑of‑district applicants: must disclose the three most recent years of work experience including dates of unemployment, schooling, and volunteer work in the “Experience and Credentials” section of the application.
