About the role

The primary responsibility is to provide social/emotional teaching and reinforcement to students in grades 3 through 5. This includes implementing classroom management strategies, supporting students' emotional development, and collaborating with teachers and other staff.

Responsibilities

• Implementing classroom management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment
• Supporting students' emotional development through individual and group counseling sessions
• Collaborating with teachers and other staff to develop and implement social/emotional learning programs
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting student progress to parents and teachers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, or related field
• Valid Colorado teaching license or ability to obtain within one year
• Experience working with children in a school setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
