Location: John R. Hummel Elementary School, Las Vegas

Schedule: 9-month position, 6 hours per day

About the Role

This is a para-professional support staff position within a Title I elementary school in Region Three.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher with instructional activities and student supervision.
• Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students as directed.
• Help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior plans.
• Prepare instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Monitor student progress and report observations to the teacher.
• Assist with classroom management and maintaining a safe, orderly environment.
• Perform clerical duties such as grading, record-keeping, and attendance tracking.
• Support students with personal care needs as required.
• Participate in professional development and staff meetings.
