About the role

The Title Express Processor assists auto insurance companies with procurement of vehicle titles, title paperwork, and works with financial institutions and vehicle owners. Duties include opening and scanning mail, handling call queues, creating and sending documents, following up with customers, and monitoring shared inboxes.

Responsibilities

  • Opening and scanning mail received
  • Answering basic Title Express questions and giving claim updates
  • Creating and sending all documents required per state guidelines for Total Loss Packets
  • Securing payoff information, Letters of Guarantee, and Copy of Title from Initial Lien Holders
  • Contacting owners/insureds for initial and follow-up tasks
  • Sending revised packets as needed
  • Mailing approvals and reviewing documents for compliance
  • Ledging and paying owners/insureds to the insurance company after final review
  • Monitoring and addressing tasks and directives in a shared inbox
  • Performing other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

  • 1+ years of office customer service experience
  • High School degree
  • Proficient in basic office equipment and Microsoft products
  • Ability to identify and analyze vehicle title documents within company and State guidelines
  • Experience working closely with State DMV's and Lien Holder entities
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Basic 10-key proficiency
  • Fast-paced environment experience
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Customer service skills and attitude
  • Basic math skills
  • Workflow delegation and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Fluency in reading and writing English
  • Valid driver's license
  • Occasional overtime as needed
