This is an in-office position Monday-Friday at our downtown Chicago location.

About the role

The National Commercial Title Coordinator is responsible for coordinating commercial multi-site and multi-state refinance and sale transactions under the direct supervision of a Senior VP and Underwriting Counsel; for answering inquiries from customers and staff on pending transactions; and for ensuring maximum levels of customer satisfaction in the provision of title and closing services.

Responsibilities

  • Order entry of all new orders and placement of orders with direct offices and agents across the country.
  • Coordinate receipt of title work from order entry through to policy issuance and manage delivery to customer.
  • Coordinate with all customers to confirm all required documentation is provided prior to closing.
  • Maintain close communication with examiner and underwriters to ensure all files are ready to close.
  • Serve as liaison between customers and offices preparing title work.
  • Assist department with other administrative responsibilities.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Comply with Company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including completing mandatory company compliance training by prescribed deadlines.
  • Work scheduled hours, Monday through Friday, with the ability to work overtime as requested by management.
  • Demonstrate dependable, reliable, and punctual attendance, which may include in-office attendance or attendance at company, industry, or other events outside regular business hours.
  • Accept supervision and direction, as well as constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate and interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees, and customers via email, phone, video conferences, and in person.
  • Demonstrate courtesy, flexibility, professionalism, and proactivity in meeting supervisor, co-worker, and customer needs and expectations.

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word), Resware, and Atlas.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while successfully performing under extreme time constraints and meeting prescribed deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects.
  • Ability to act independently with sound judgment and take initiative.
  • Clear, grammatically correct, and business-appropriate written and verbal communication.
  • Active listening skills and awareness of the role body language, gestures, and other nonverbal actions play in communication.
  • Excellent professional written, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
  • Personable, positive, and professional representation of the company.
  • Ability to foster, develop, and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships.
  • Ability to get along with peers, employees, supervisors, outside customers, and vendors, and lead by positive example.

Pay

$26.00 - $30.00 per hour
