About the role
We are looking for a motivated individual to contribute to a results-oriented and high-performance team. The Centralized Title Group reviews vehicle titles to ensure they and supporting documentation adhere to state guidelines. This group also underwrites all titles from multiple acquisition platforms for DriveTime automotive purchases to guarantee title negotiability and transfer across all 50 states.
Responsibilities
- Apply underwriting guidelines to ensure titles and all supporting documents adhere to multi-state rules for title acceptance.
- Partner and maintain effective communication and consistent follow-up with all acquisition platforms, DMVs, vendors, and dealerships to identify and resolve title encumbrances to seamlessly transfer title to DriveTime customers.
- Adhere to internal requirements for specialized processing to support inventory movement.
- Audit and maintain the integrity of title movement through systematic updates to ensure titles and vehicles move within designated timeframes.
- Secure and maintain title and supporting documentation to guarantee timely distribution to dealerships, auctions, vendors, and insurance companies based on vehicle disposition.
- Learn and utilize Excel-based applications for daily workflow in addition to multiple databases.
- Meet daily production expectations while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Prior titles experience a plus (or a role that required high attention to detail).
- Must be comfortable working on site and have availability weekdays from 7am-4pm. This team works out of our Operations Center in East Mesa.
