National Title Coordinator

About the role

The National Title Coordinator will support commercial title transactions from file opening through closing by coordinating documentation, managing workflows, and ensuring exceptional service to both internal teams and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Open and establish new title files while ensuring all required documentation is received and accurately entered into company systems.
  • Submit title orders and coordinate with title examiners, underwriters, settlement teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Monitor transaction milestones and proactively follow up to keep files moving toward successful closings.
  • Review incoming documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and organize transaction files, correspondence, and supporting documentation.
  • Cover with attorneys, lenders, brokers, clients, and internal departments to obtain required information and resolve outstanding items.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries via phone and email.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and physical files while ensuring compliance with company procedures and industry standards.
  • Cover with attorneys, underwriters, and other team members with administrative and operational tasks as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a high level of professionalism and responsiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred - but not required.
  • 3+ years of title insurance, escrow, settlement, or real estate transaction experience; commercial and/or national title experience is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of title insurance principles, real estate transactions, closing procedures, and settlement processes.
  • Experience opening title files and coordinating multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Able to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and title production software.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys, underwriters, lenders, clients, and internal teams.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
