About the Role
This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in title and escrow operations who can review records carefully, resolve discrepancies, and keep refund-related tasks moving forward. The selected candidate will bring strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate administrative processes efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Review escrow and title records to identify mismatches, outstanding balances, and items requiring reconciliation.
- Investigate refund-related issues and coordinate next steps to help ensure unresolved amounts are addressed promptly.
- Prepare and submit refund requests through the appropriate internal channels when external resolution is not available.
- Examine supporting documents for completeness and accuracy before updating files or escalating concerns.
- Maintain organized records of reconciliation activity, decisions, and follow-up actions throughout the assignment.
- Communicate findings clearly with relevant stakeholders to support timely problem resolution.
- Prioritize daily workload effectively to meet deadlines within a fast-paced, short-term project environment.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in title, escrow, or closely related mortgage support work.
- Practical knowledge of escrow processing and title-related administrative procedures.
- Experience handling loan administration tasks within a mortgage or real estate setting.
- Familiarity with real estate title documentation and reconciliation workflows.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and determine appropriate next steps.
- High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail when working with financial or transactional records.
- Ability to solve problems independently and manage responsibilities effectively during a contract assignment.
