Escrow Clerk

About the role

Triad Financial Services is a leading provider of financial services and solutions, serving clients worldwide. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Escrow Clerk to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

• Post refunds to escrow accounts
• Make disbursements from escrow accounts
• Open and scan incoming mail
• Call insurance companies and agents
• Assist borrowers via email or phone
• Process yearly and/or interim escrow analysis
• Call tax collectors or navigate county websites
• Answer general insurance claim questions according to policy and procedure
• Log, scan, and track requests in our system of record, MSP

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given
• Typing speed of at least 50 WPM
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook+)
• Prior mortgage experience required

• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
• Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone
• Able to sit at a workstation for prolonged periods of time
• Must be able to physically type
