Title Agency Underwriting Support Representative

About the role

Join a collaborative team where your title insurance expertise helps agency partners succeed. As a Title Agency Underwriting Support Representative, you'll provide day-to-day underwriting guidance, production support, audit assistance, and operational expertise to title agencies throughout North Carolina. You'll serve as a trusted resource for answering questions, resolving issues, supporting compliance, and helping agency partners navigate their daily underwriting and title operations with confidence.

What You'll Do:

• Provide day-to-day underwriting and operational support to assigned title agencies.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for agency questions regarding underwriting guidelines, title processes, forms, rates, settlement procedures, and company requirements.
• Aid agencies with production challenges, workflow questions, and issue resolution.
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of company underwriting standards, state requirements, and operational procedures.
• Support agency personnel with SoftPro and other production systems.
• Conduct quarterly operational audits and clearly communicate findings and recommendations.
• Provide training and guidance on underwriting standards, systems, and operational procedures.
• Aid in the development of training materials and agency support resources.
• Maintain accurate client, lender, and provider information to support efficient title production.
• Assist with operational reporting, production tracking, and special projects as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in title insurance, underwriting, agency operations, or a related field required.
• Understanding of title insurance and real estate settlement processes.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to provide training, guidance, and support to agency personnel.
• Proficiency with general computer applications; SoftPro experience is preferred.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• A collaborative team player who enjoys supporting others and building lasting agency relationships.
