About the Role
The Engagement and Retention Coordinator provides leadership for the implementation and continuous improvement of the school's leadership and culture model across all campuses. This position partners with principals and campus culture teams to ensure consistent implementation, monitor progress toward established benchmarks, and build systems that promote student leadership, engagement, and academic success. The coordinator also leads initiatives designed to strengthen school culture, increase student retention, and support campuses in creating engaging learning environments where students and staff thrive.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the school's leadership and culture model across all campuses.
- Develop implementation plans, timelines, and success measures to ensure consistent execution of leadership and culture initiatives.
- Partner with principals and campus culture teams to monitor implementation progress and ensure campuses meet established implementation benchmarks and recognition criteria.
- Conduct regular implementation reviews, analyze campus evidence, and provide actionable feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Coach campus administrators and campus culture teams on best practices for embedding leadership development, student ownership, goal setting, and collaborative practices into daily campus operations.
- Design and facilitate professional learning opportunities focused on school culture, leadership development, student engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Support campuses in developing systems that foster student leadership, accountability, relationship building, and a positive school culture.
- Collaborate with campus leaders to implement strategies that improve student engagement, attendance, persistence, and overall retention.
- Analyze engagement, attendance, and retention data to identify trends and recommend targeted interventions that improve student outcomes.
- Coordinate campus recognition and celebration efforts that reinforce leadership, academic growth, and positive school culture.
- Partner with school leadership and cross-functional departments to ensure alignment of engagement, retention, and school improvement initiatives.
- Develop implementation resources, communication tools, and progress monitoring systems to support campus success.
- Maintain documentation, implementation trackers, and reports to evaluate program effectiveness and inform decision-making.
- Provide additional campus support and lead special projects that enhance school culture, student engagement, and retention.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Valid Texas teaching or administrator certification preferred.
- Experience working with school leadership teams, instructional coaching, or campus administration.
- Experience facilitating professional development and leading collaborative teams.
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze data and use results to drive continuous improvement.
- Experience supporting school culture, student engagement, or leadership initiatives preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual collaboration platforms.
- Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time.
- Ability to clear required background check.

Pay
$60,000
