About the role
The Tissue Recovery Coordinator is responsible for the surgical recovery of tissues, including assessment, recovery, packaging, and shipment for transplantation and research, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate tissue and eye recovery
- Manage cases with proper documentation and communication
- Operate in sterile environments
- Coordinate with internal and external partners
- Maintain accurate records in industry-standard systems
- Participate in quality assurance
- Support clinical supply management
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Stand for long periods
- Respond to onsite needs
- Travel across the state as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols, including PPE use
- Maintain vaccination requirements

Qualifications
- Preferred healthcare-related degree
- Experience in CST, LPN, EMT, paramedic, fire, or OR settings is desirable
